Rearranging

Recently, we replaced all our old air conditioners in our condo with new energy efficient models.  The old ones were so old, I think they dated back to the Eisenhower administration!  When you ran them, you couldn't turn on any other appliance for fear of blowing a fuse!  So if you wanted to watch TV, you had to make sure you turned off the air conditioner....won't be missing that!

New quieter air conditioner!

After replacing all four ancient air conditioners, we did a little re-arranging of some furniture in the house.  We had to move the bookcase in the office out to the living room, because it was blocking the airflow, guess we were not used to having a working air conditioner in that room.

Ed added the colorful stool next to the shelving and I think it looks great!

After moving out the bookcase, we also removed the small corner shelf and replaced it with this big credenza    where we keep our printer and a lamp now.  At least this little corner is looking good....just need to work on the rest of the room, which looks like a computer exploded in there!

I think I would move before having to choose between air conditioning and TV, LOL! Enjoy that lovely frosty air this summer while watching your favourite shows. Oh, and I love that cat painting above the shelving unit.

Yes, having to choose between TV and A/C was pretty awful at times. We used a lot of fans! By the way, the painting above the shelving is of Moob. Ed's cousin is an artist and Ed's mom commissioned him to paint that for Ed for his birthday last year.
I'm not surprised to hear that Moob is an artistic muse.
You definitely deserve the upgrade! Now you can enjoy the cool temperature without worries of short circuit or paying big bills. I don't believe in getting all sentimental when it comes to getting rid of an appliance, like the AC, after all.

It seems that keeping your home comfortable isn’t a problem because you have four air conditioners. Anyhow, rearranging the fixtures in your home was a great idea. Since you have new AC units, it’s good to make simple improvements on your house too. That will enhance the overall atmosphere of your home, making it even more vibrant and refreshing!
