A friend of mine saw this for sale in the newspaper, so I decided to check out the auction website. This kit has everything that a vampire hunter needs: holy water, crosses, book of prayers, a gun, a rosary, stakes and more!
The auction is this Saturday, but they are already taking bids online. They are estimating the value to be between $5,000 - $7,000. Not sure if this kit was created for a movie, or if its something someone put together back during the Victorian era...either way, it is certainly a conversation piece.
Has this ever happened to you? You park your car and days later you find a nasty note on your car from some irate driver who claims that you are taking up more than one parking space? I don't do much driving, except on the weekends. So when I went to get my car over the weekend, it was a total surprise for me to find a note taped to the front of my windshield. It was attached with packing tape...I'm guessing that the author of the note wanted to make sure that it didnt fall off. It was neatly typed too..so at first I thought it was an advertisement. The note said: Thanks for Taking TWO Parking Spaces I had to park two blocks away, You stupid, inconsiderate Bastard! (I typed it exactly as it was written). What the hell?!! Someone was so pissed off that they couldn't find a parking space near their home that they decided to type out a note, print it, cut it out and put it on my windshield with packing tape? Would have thought the act of typing it out would have cooled down their temper a bit...but apparently not. Must have been two long blocks to walk! LOL! I just had to laugh at it all. It is pretty hilarious that someone went to all that trouble. The whole thing was a bit confusing though, there was a car in front of me, but there was no huge space between us that could fit another car. Behind my car was the crosswalk...had I parked back any further, I would have been ticketed (I know from experience!). This note is puzzling to me. When searching online, I found some funny notes that people left, or had found on their cars..so I thought I would share the love....Enjoy!
Would have been nice if the author stated why the car had to be moved.
Wow! Thats a lot of anger! Isn't there a nicer way to put this??
This one is quite humorous because the person in question is legally parked on the street...and the writer of the note is just angry that they are unable to park in front of their house. Love the sarcastic response from the car owner.
This one was kind of cute...even though they insulted the driver a bit.
From a VERY UNHAPPY pedestrian!
This one was left by the owner of the car...but it is hilarious! Don't mess with this guy!
I'm sorry, it had to be said. After watching the election results last night, I was seriously upset at how mis-informed most voters are! I know that the Independent voters wanted to make a statement, but seriously? Do you think things will be better with conservative members in the House and Senate? Think again! How are they going to pay America's monstrous debt...with tax cuts? Do you think those corporations who profit from lowered taxes will pay the debt? Not if their head office is in the Cayman Islands! Your fellow Americans will lose out on proper and affordable health care! Go put your faith in Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. Put your faith in the party that caused this crisis by deregulating the banks which conservatives want to deregulate even more so maybe, the next time, we will have to bail them out again! But lets face it, the conservatives won't bail them out, we will all see America and the world sink into another financial quagmire. Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire!
Smart people are not liberal or conservative. They are a healthy mix of both, and know when to be one more than the other. People seem to forget that we narrowly escaped another Depression! Remember how long the Great Depression lasted??? A DECADE!! It will take almost as long as that to get out of the mess we are in now! There are no quick fixes here! Wake up people!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok..I'm done with my post election rant...you can go about your business now.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! I helped my sister give out candy at her house...she really goes all out with flying ghosts, smoke machine, scary music and of course both of us dressed in costume. Its always a lot of fun. We didn't have as many kids as in previous years, so I was giving out 3-4 candy bars to each kid. One kid actually had the nerve to ask for more, after I gave him several candy bars! Talk about being greedy! I basically ignored him while I gave out candy to the other kids who were with him, and he sulked away eventually. Then there's the parents cart their poor little babies around in a stoller, many of them still sleeping, but in costume. Most of the babies don't even have teeth yet, and you just know that those parents are going to go home and scarf all that candy...not the baby! I'm sorry, but if your child is not old enough to walk, he's not old enough for candy! In my sister's neighborhood, many of the fathers bring beer with them...and they drink it while they take out the kids trick-or-treating! One year some guy not only drank beer, but was dressed up as a bottle of beer too! Another guy had a wagon that he used to cart his child, as well as a six pack of beer! Most of the kids were very polite and said thank you...except for the really shy little kids who were slightly scared of the whole thing. When my nephews came back from trick-or-treating, they each filled a giant bowl with candy. My littlest nephew, Sean exclaimed, while going through his loot..."Someone gave me a bag of cheese curls! Why did they do that?" That just cracked me up! In honor of Halloween candy, I have a cute video of Jerry Seinfeld and his take on Halloween...very funny!
