FAWNS

Since moving last month, I've been re-assessing my home and possessions and have made a decision to get rid of my fawns.  Trying to take a more minimalistic approach to decorating my home.  At the moment, it looks more like a thrift store than a home, and its making us crazy!  So goodbye Bambi, Fawny and all your little buddies...I will miss you!

Two vintage Bambi's that I rescued from the trash a few years ago

Its been a rather warm winter this year, I think this has been the only snowfall so far this winter!

This flocked fawn was my favorite

Two plastic fawn buddies (Already sold these two, along with the flocked fawn)

Its not much of a collection, I know, but I enjoyed them while I had them.  Hoping that they will be able to bring a smile to someone else's face now.

Bye, sweet fawns! I've just recently decided that it's okay to still love things but let them go. (I have this "but they have faces!" issue that makes me apply feelings to inanimate objects. :)

I know what you mean about applying feeling to inanimate objects! I recently sold my mechanical animals too...and I already miss their sweet little faces, even though they had been sitting in a closet for the last 3 years! At least I have my photographs to comfort me.
Run free, little fawns! (That sounds so much better than "Flock off, youse!")
