It is with a heavy heart that I post this. My cat Sammy has passed away at the age of 15 1/2. He had been losing weight the last couple of months and seemed to have more labored breathing, which was why I made an appointment to see the vet. The vet wasn't so much concerned with the weight loss, but the heavy breathing was an issue. They took some x-rays and found tumors in the lung area. The vet said that there was nothing she could do and that he was only going to get worse and probably didn't have much time left. She recommended putting him to sleep. This was devastating news...especially since I only put my dog down 6 months ago. Its been a rough year losing both of my pets in less than a year.
