50th Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday, my parents celebrated 50 years of marriage.  We celebrated with friends and family and everyone had a wonderful time.  My parents were very touched by all the people who came out for the celebration.  Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

This was a re-creation of their original wedding cake.  We sent the bakery photos of the cake that they had at their wedding, and they did a fantastic job.  The topper is vintage, that my sister got on Ebay.  It is almost identical to the one they had at their wedding back in 1963....at first I thought it was the original, but my mom said that she had threw it away a long time ago because it got damaged.

Cake was delicious!
