The Spirit of Christmas

This was a lovely little holiday gem called The Spirit of Christmas put out by Bell Telephone for the kiddies sometime in the 50s and ran every holiday up through the 70s. This excerpt  features the Mabel Beaton marionettes acting out Twas the Night Before Christmas.  This was mainly one of those regional productions, so only those kids who lived in and around the Philadelphia, PA area would see this.  Brings back some great Christmas memories for me.

Recently the local PBS station has been airing this every year, and even released it on DVD..for a donation of course. They also have the marionettes act out the nativity scene too.
